My take on Denim this Rakhi

Men just like women also have the fetish to be well dressed. They are constantly conscious of how they look consciously or unconsciously. But in India, a man’s attire is said to be the best when he is dressed in traditional clothes. There were times when kurtas were the only clothes they used to wear, but with the changing times western wear has come into fashion and the kurtas for men have become an occasional attire. But it has its own charm when worn and guys wear it with complete zest and enthusiasm.

Kurtas have become a hit amongst most international buyers, kurta is the traditional attire, which can be paired conveniently with anything. Available in a variety of materials, shades, colors, styles, patterns and lengths, it goes well with practically anything- jeans, pants, trousers, churidaars and dhotis. Let us delve deep into the contemporary avatar of kurta and see what have I ensemble this Rakhi as my #OOTD giving my kurta a little modern edge.

Kurta- Porwal; Espadrilles and bag- Koovs; Shades- Globus

Denim has been a cult favorite of all fashion as well as non fashion lovers since its very existence and these days when people are drooling over denim distressed jeans, shorts , dungarees , shirts and jackets. My take on denim was this super comfortable and classy denim kurta which has been my first pick up whenever am asked to go ethnic because of the modern edge it has. Keeping that little western touch in mind I paired this kurta with my black trousers. For feet I chose to wear my slip on Espadrilles which is the biggest vogue of the season amongst the guys. Keeping the color and print of the Espadrilles in my mind I carried this military printed bag which goes perfect with the shoes and breaks the theme of dark colors. I again chose to wear my novelty pair of sunglasses to add all the more swagger in the look.

Points to keep in mind while buying and wearing one:
1.     In order to look understatedly dressed, always opy for unique and stylish textiles when buying menswear kurtas.
2.     Slimmer the kurta fits, better it will fall. Do not go for the baggy variety .
3.     While wearing churidaars with kurta, make sure the knee doesn’t show.
4.     The ideal length of a full sleeve kurta should be slightly under or just touch the wrist.
5.     Do not wear see through kurtas without vests.
6.     Go for classic cotton in summer and silks in winter.

Tips from the post:

1.     If you sweat badly and deadly then avoid wearing a denim kurta as the fabric is comparatively thicker than the other materials. Don’t let your sweat patch grab the more attention then you.
2.     Always buy a size less in espadrilles as they loosen up in the very first wear.
