Bold Brunet went Black !

"People who wear black are the most colorful people."
Hey folks welcome to my blogaland ! Quintessentially defining this mantra here I start writing my first post about my never ending love for black. If at all you rad people would visit my Instagram account (dapper dope) you would know how deeply this color has spelled magic on my psyche. Since first posts are special ,hence I so wanted the outfit ,location and photographer to be in accord with the big blogging plans I had.My clan calls me a story teller and stories happen only to those who can narrate them. So does my first shoot have story. My best of friend happens to own a DSLR and one fine day she bumps in into my house vibrantly with her camera getting after my life to get ready for the shoot, yes my first ever shoot! So I get these 10 minutes to ransack my wardrobe and grab the gladrags. So here is what I ended up assembling.

I teamed up my staple pair of checked trousers with a plain boat necked black tee and accessorized it with my printed suspenders and was good to go. But the biggest question still remained unanswered that what do I put on my feet? Well! since am a big weirdo so I always let that be visible in my styling and keeping that in mind I thought of wearing my weird toe shoes which are just apt for the monsoon and my excitement held no bound. Also I carried an opaque striped black blazer which I own almost since 5 years now and a hat which had won me much attention on my fresher’s party.

Talking about the look which i carried is a multi occasional look which could be carried for Retro themed parties (hat is a must), clubbing, evening soirees, cocktail parties and cafe dutch treats (leave the blazer and hat home). Now the pair of trousers am wearing are really special to me because one day while going through the old family albums I happen to see a photograph of my dad rocking the same pair of trousers in a family soiree. That was when I decided to get the same trousers stitched and bought the fabric from Raymond. The super comfy black t'shirt is a product of Carbon Basics. Moving on to the catch of the attire which makes me look SUSPENDERLICIOUS (my coinage) are from Apollo tower. The grey hat which I carried to make the look more retro and perfect for a clubbing day out is from The Mumbai Colaba market. The blazer which never looks a day old is from Globus. Last and way far from least my favorite pair of toe shoes are from Treasure Island which is under renovation these days but you could find the same shoes online on Myntra (available in Adidas and Fila) .

Tips from the post:
1. Those of you who think suspenders are to be worn on special occasions like family weddings or they are need to be worn with bowties, really need to break the monotony and make suspenders your café wear.
2. One never looks fat in black. In fact black is the perfect color choice to hide your spare tires and paunch if need be.
3. Those of you who think dark complexioned people aren’t supposed to wear black frequently really need some inspiration from my blog.
4. Give your trousers two folds and create your own style.
5. Put on a same colored blazer to your plain tee and give a different angle to layer dressing.
6. Hats are perfect to be carried along to a Cocktail and Retro themed parties.
7. Last and the biggest tip for life lads never like NEVER wear your suspenders with a belt. Suspenders are meant to be used in place of a belt.
Till my next post keep experimenting and keep it exotic.
