Mack and Monsoon 💧🌈☔

Hey people is the monsoon taking you away from your closet? Do you feel your style statement ain't living up to your own expectations? Do you get your feet dungy the moment you step out of your homes? Are you battling with your thoughts so as what to wear whenever you go for an outing?
Well, guys if your answer is yes then you've landed at the right place so keep reading as this post of mine would talk about monsoon dressing.
September is almost over but the weather still is so unpredictable. Last week it had been raining cats and dogs throughout. It's quite a breather from hot rise in mercury but monsoon season is the trickiest in terms of dressing and looking fashionable.
To look fashionable is not tough especially when you have the right attitude to life. There are many other things that determine how smart you are than just the clothes you wear. No doubt that the first impression on people who see you would be by judging what you wear or how do you carry yourself because that is what an eye can perceive at the first glance. Therefore, to enhance the “first look impression” of you, this monsoon I have styled a look to sweep people off their feet.

I chose to play with colors for this monsoon look and keeping that in mind I picked up this tank tee from Sleeze(behind 56, Indore) and teamed it up with my super comfy black pair of trousers and this gingham shirt from Apollo Square. For feet I preferred wearing these flip flops (Fila) which I ordered online from Myntra. To complete the look I sported this rainbow umbrella which my friend happened to buy at a traffic signal. Also I carried my tropical volet, a wrist band and a pair of specs as accesssories.

A vibrant umbrella or a mack is a must have this monsoon season.

I went all the more nautical and carried this tropical wallet from koovs.

Tips from the post:

1.First of all when we talk about monsoon dressing a perfect pair of bottoms is a must which are not too skinny or tight.

2.Better stick to dark shades for bottoms as the stains are not visible on them and they don't get  patchy.

3.Talking about torso dressing colors is all what you need to play with. Go holly vibrant this season.

4. Put on a really thin tee which gets dry real fast.

5.Talking about footwears flip flops and jelly shoes should be your go to. Feel confident to splash all the water from that pit off road on your friend.

6. If you going out in the evenings carrying a shirt which would keep you a little warm is ideal. Gingham are perfect for layer dressing and takes your style statement to another new level.

7. Whites are for summer and we ain't playing a character under Yash Raj banner so completely forget wearing all white clothes. Also white gets all transparent even if you are a little drenched.

8. Get your hair literally short and trim as hair add a lot in completing the look and you don't want to look real champu when you get all drenched. Do you?

Till my next post keep it nautical ! #xoxox 😘🐣😘

Attack on Aztec

Hey people before I start blurting out what my new post is about; I would extend sincere gratitude to all of you out there who have been jamming my traffic on Blogspot and have made my Instagram followers go 1000 plus.

Okay so coming down to this post which talks about the bold go trendy Aztec print. The Aztec prints have been around for a while along with the boho trends, and yet their cool funky look is still fresh to the eyes. The Aztec prints can also enliven any dull outfit and give it a fruity spirited look.
The inspiration of fashion comes from things we can’t even imagine. From tree barks to insects, fashion is inspired by the bizarre and the new. Ancient civilizations and their cultures too have been a great influence on fashion and given rise to distinct trends. Tribal prints or Aztec is one such trend that is making the rounds and has caught on as one of the hottest trends of the year.
Aztec prints are crazy, cool, funky and chick. You can pair them up with absolutely anything, one can experiment with lot many variations with these prints and designs. These may not be adopted by everyone, but trust me, with experience I can admit that this print can be worn with anything and in any season and on any errand.
Guys may be a little skeptical about styling these prints because they might have a false notion that prints are a chick flick. But fucchas it's high time to break the norm and do little experimenting. I have styled a white Aztec printed shirt for basics to give a Mexican artsy vibe to your wardrobe right away.

Like I mentioned for starters I chose to wear white printed shirt from Youngsters and teamed it up with my black pair of trousers. For shoes I chose to wear these pointed toe lace shoes which look like twins to my shirt. For accessories I wore a statement watch, a colorful band and my round shaped spectacles. Also since the theme was Aztec I carried that tribal printed mobile cover to complete the look.
Embrace the Aztec intrusion in your trend and get your style statement dipped in things bold yet peppy.

Till my next post keep experimenting.

My take on Denim this Rakhi

Men just like women also have the fetish to be well dressed. They are constantly conscious of how they look consciously or unconsciously. But in India, a man’s attire is said to be the best when he is dressed in traditional clothes. There were times when kurtas were the only clothes they used to wear, but with the changing times western wear has come into fashion and the kurtas for men have become an occasional attire. But it has its own charm when worn and guys wear it with complete zest and enthusiasm.

Kurtas have become a hit amongst most international buyers, kurta is the traditional attire, which can be paired conveniently with anything. Available in a variety of materials, shades, colors, styles, patterns and lengths, it goes well with practically anything- jeans, pants, trousers, churidaars and dhotis. Let us delve deep into the contemporary avatar of kurta and see what have I ensemble this Rakhi as my #OOTD giving my kurta a little modern edge.

Kurta- Porwal; Espadrilles and bag- Koovs; Shades- Globus

Denim has been a cult favorite of all fashion as well as non fashion lovers since its very existence and these days when people are drooling over denim distressed jeans, shorts , dungarees , shirts and jackets. My take on denim was this super comfortable and classy denim kurta which has been my first pick up whenever am asked to go ethnic because of the modern edge it has. Keeping that little western touch in mind I paired this kurta with my black trousers. For feet I chose to wear my slip on Espadrilles which is the biggest vogue of the season amongst the guys. Keeping the color and print of the Espadrilles in my mind I carried this military printed bag which goes perfect with the shoes and breaks the theme of dark colors. I again chose to wear my novelty pair of sunglasses to add all the more swagger in the look.

Points to keep in mind while buying and wearing one:
1.     In order to look understatedly dressed, always opy for unique and stylish textiles when buying menswear kurtas.
2.     Slimmer the kurta fits, better it will fall. Do not go for the baggy variety .
3.     While wearing churidaars with kurta, make sure the knee doesn’t show.
4.     The ideal length of a full sleeve kurta should be slightly under or just touch the wrist.
5.     Do not wear see through kurtas without vests.
6.     Go for classic cotton in summer and silks in winter.

Tips from the post:

1.     If you sweat badly and deadly then avoid wearing a denim kurta as the fabric is comparatively thicker than the other materials. Don’t let your sweat patch grab the more attention then you.
2.     Always buy a size less in espadrilles as they loosen up in the very first wear.
